Just wanna share a testimony with you guys about how wonderful our Father in Heaven is. Wanted to share this during CG meeting the other day, but shy lah. Hehehe…
First start, I’ve finally joined a new CG already!!! E491!! Dear ChaiYing is my CG leader and I’m soo glad it’s her. Well, I really believe everything is ordained by God. You wanna know what happened 3 weeks back?
On this particular Sunday service, my heart was already determined to answer if there is any Altar Call from Pastor Kong. And so there was. I went down and stood in front. After the sinner’s prayer, Pastor Kong wanted the counsellors to pray for us too. Guess what, Pastor Derrick laid hands on me!! After that, “things” happened and Sister Yilun(I’m not sure if I’ve spelled her name correctly)came and prayed for me. It so happened that she is a Zone leader and she asked if I’d came alone to church that day. And she said that she would ask a CG leader to contact me if I am interested in joining a CG. SO, Chaiying contacted me. At first I did not know who she is, but after she added me on FB, I came to find her very familiar. Well, in fact I used to know her from POS in 2007. What a small world huh? After I know it’s her, somehow I felt peace in my heart. And that’s when I know, He has answered my prayer.
This is only half a part of my testimony. What I really wanna share is that, God always answers prayers. Only in 1 condition -at His own timing. 2 months ago, I’ve started praying to God that He will allow me to meet the right people whom will bring me closer to Him. And I met An-G from Body Inc -she is a wonderful lady, my therapist and my friend. FYI, Body Inc is opened by Jacelyn Tay, she and An-G are from CHC too. When I first found out that AN-G was from CHC, I was very surprise but very happy at the same time. Because it is her, her encouragements, her reminding me of God’s love which helped me to have faith again. Every week as I go for treatment, she will always remind me to continue to trust and have faith in Him. To pray and believe that one day, I will be healed. She will also share about her walk with God and that really encourages me a lot. I remember once she said this to me, “Treat this as if it’s a trail from God. Once you’ve overcome it, you will become a better woman of God. He is always a good and faithful God.”
Indeed He is.. I’ve never expected that I would meet these wonderful people. Well, God is a good God, and He always answers prayers.
